Merch That Feels Like Home, Wherever You Roam.

I started Caribbean Gecko with a simple idea: to create minimalist, high-quality merch that reflects the Caribbean experience—not just for tourists, but for those of us who call it home, even from miles away.

As a Belizean living abroad, I know firsthand how much we hold onto the symbols, sayings, and little reminders of home. Whether it’s a phrase in Kriol, a national flag, or a design that instantly takes you back to a street in Belize City or the tropical forest that once filled your backyard, those small things matter. They ground us. They remind us where we’re from.

Yet, finding these reminders online can be difficult, especially for Belize, which isn’t as well-known as other Caribbean communities. My hunch is that others, like myself, have faced this challenge and would love to see this gap filled—to finally have a way to order from anywhere in the world and reconnect with home.

That’s why I launched Caribbean Gecko, starting with Belizean merch that reflects not just where we come from, but how we carry it with us. It’s for the Belizeans at home, the ones making a life elsewhere, and even the travelers who have felt the magic of our culture and want to take a piece of it with them.

But this is just the beginning. As Caribbean Gecko grows, I’ll be expanding to include other Caribbean cultures, creating designs that feel authentic, stylish, and meaningful for anyone with roots in the region.

Unlike the typical loud, touristy Caribbean merch, I wanted something more elegant, modern, and timeless. Whether it’s a T-shirt, sticker, cap, or mug, each piece is meant to be more than just merch—it’s a piece of home, wherever you roam.
